I wanted a career in which I could help others, so I began to pray. Massage was the answer to my prayers. So, I enrolled in massage school the next available semester. I graduated from Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage in Knoxville, TN. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2004. Since then, I have worked in several spas in East Tennessee. In 2018, with the help of my loving husband and friends, we were able to build a massage practice I am very proud to call my own located at my home. I love being able to help others through therapeutic touch, a wonderful profession called massage therapy.
Other than being a massage therapist, I am a wife as well as a mother of a wonderful son. We have two amazing dogs. We love to go on jeep rides, watch movies, cooking, time together, and I have a deep love for coffee.
I offer Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Reflexology and Sports Massages. I also offer Body Scrubs and Mud Wrap Treatments.
I was a tractor-trailer driver for 23 years and was looking for something different. I was a single mom driving at night, taking care of my mom, who had ovarian cancer at the same time. My mom would say that her legs hurt all the time, due to the chemotherapy. So when I was home, I would rub her legs trying to help, which she said "Feels so Good". My mom died six and half years later. I figured if I could help her, I could help others that had body pain. I wanted to be in healthcare that did not involve needles or blood. I took that leap, and enrolled in massage school. Fast forward to today, I have been a massage therapist for over 15 years and I love what I do! I love helping people feel better when they leave my table with different physical issues.
I offer Swedish and Deep Tissue Massages.
My journey to massage therapy started when I was young. My dad hurt his back and I watched him suffer for years. When I was older, I started rubbing his shoulders and back to give him some relief. I decided I wanted to go to massage school. After I graduated from Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage in 2004, I was able to work for a few years. Then I became very sick. It took years to find what was making me so ill. It was a TUMOR. Once I had surgery to remove it, all my horrible symptoms disappeared, and I was able to return to work.
I am passionate about being able to help others feel better and get some pain relief through massage therapy. There is nothing more satisfying than to hear how much better someone feels after leaving the treatment room.
