As of January 2023, when you schedule a relaxing massage (our Refresh, Renew, or Recharge) session, you can choose either a facial massage or reflexology on your feet at no additional charge.
So, what is a facial massage? This may vary from place to place. However, let’s be clear. It is not a FACIAL. We do not cleanse or exfoliate the skin of the face. That is a service you can get with an esthetician. We are massage therapists.
At Recharge Yourself Massage, a facial massage is a specific add on where we use specific smooth massage tools made of marble, jade and even glass. These tools are kept in our freezer, so that they are cold. This allows the tools to help with sinus pressure, headaches and tension better on the facial skin, as it is more sensitive. We use massage cream that is specifically designed for the face, so that it does not clog the pores, or leave your face oily or greasy feeling. We also use hot towels, and cold eye covers to give you a very relaxing experience.
So, the next time you schedule a Refresh, Recharge or Renew massage, ask to have the facial massage to see just how amazing the coldness feels on your sinus area, temples, and forehead.
